stormwaterStormwater Management Funding Assessment
Opened 12 May 2022
Closes May 26

Stormwater management is also a form of wastewater treatment, whereby rain water and snowmelt runs off across dirty roads and properties, into a stormwater pond to settle out contaminants before being released to our creeks and drinking water source, Lake Ontario. The costs for Cobourg's stormwater management are currently funded through the tax levy but Council is considering changing that to dedicated funding sources similar to the full cost recovery system that is in place for water and wastewater assets in Cobourg. This project is to inform and receive feedback and questions from residents. Feedback is via a Forum or email to staff (No Q & A survey).
